Recognizing Innovation in HR

Some of you may recall HRE collaborated with Bersin by Deloitte earlier this year to help shed light on innovation and excellence across the critical areas of HR, learning and talent. We were delighted to play a role in identifying and sharing some extraordinary HR practices at companies such as Accenture, First Data Corp., New York Life, Merck & Co. and Electronic Arts.84517205

Winners of the competition were officially recognized at Bersin by Deloitte’s IMPACT Conference, which took place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

I’m pleased to say HRE will be partnering with Bersin by Deloitte for the 2014 WhatWorks Awards, which has been somewhat streamlined.  When all is said and done, the competition next year will recognize five finalists and one award recipient at IMPACT 2014 (being held back in Fort Lauderdale in April), compared with 24 recipients in 2013. Winners in each of the five categories—Transforming HR; Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders; Enabling High-Impact Learning; Acquiring Top Talent; and Optimizing Talent Management—will also be featured in the pages of HRE’s April edition (as well as online).

Have a great story to tell?  Then let us know. The deadline for submissions is Dec. 13.
